Kathleen was born and raised on the local island city of Alameda. She has over twenty-five years of experience in the dental field. She graduated from the College of Alameda Dental Assisting Program in 1983 and has since been a registered dental assistant, a finance and insurance coordinator, and the practice administrator. Family is very important to her. She comes from an Irish/Hispanic family of six children, Kathleen being the fourth. She has a sixteen-year-old named Marcus, which she has proudly raised herself.
She loves interacting with people and takes great pride in her work. She enjoys working with her fellow staff members at Dr.Pacleb's office and thinks they are all very talented. Her overall dental background gives her a complete understanding of the patients' needs. You can always count on her to go the extra mile for the patients. Her favorite part of her job is seeing how happy the patients are at the end of their visit. Kathleen is our practice administrator with grace and ease. She leads our office with the shared philosophy that the patients are cared for promptly and with respect. Her honesty and professional rapport is a true reflection of what we represent.
Joy - Patient Coordinator
Joy is a local from El Cerrito. She has been in the dental field since 1977. She started as a dental assistant and took a break to raise her two daughters. She ventured into other fields and returned to dentistry ten years ago. Joy regularly attends classes to enhance her 30+ years of dental experience. Her hobbies are cake decorating and knitting. Joy is expecting her first grandchild in November 2008. Her kids are grown up now, but they still get together for weekly dinners and shopping trips.
Her favorite part of her job is the patients and the close family her coworkers have become. The office get-togethers are an added treat. Her welcoming personality greets you when you walk into our office or when you give us a call. She is truly the joy of our office.
Sandi - Lead Registered Dental Assistant
Sandi was born in Ruston, Louisiana. She is a Southern Girl who loves interacting with everyone. She has two grown children, Kristi and Kevin. In her free time, she loves being outdoors and spending time with her children. She has over twenty years of experience in Dentistry.
Sandi's favorite part of her job is visiting with patients and getting to know them. She loves working at Dr. Pacleb's dental office because she feels that she is a part of a family that truly cares for one another. Sandi is a true bright spot to our office. Her years of experience along with her friendly and outgoing personality will win you over immediately. When you know Sandi, you will know the epitome of Southern Hospitality.
Nancy McAllister - Registered Dental Hygienist
Nancy McAllister was born and raised in California's Central Valley where her family still resides. From the moment she set foot in a dental office, she knew she would become a dental hygienist. Upon completion of Fresno City College's Dental Hygiene Program, she relocated to the Bay Area.
She volunteers at the Solano County Dental Clinic working with WIC on educating the underprivileged families of Early Childhood Caries. She enjoys spending time with family and friends, camping, reading, watching movies, and watching hockey. Nancy is also an avid animal lover. She has pets such as: cats, snakes, fish, frogs, dogs, and even birds.
You are sure to find Nancy's wit, sense of humor, and giggles contagious. Nancy's gentle touch and calming rapport has patients rescheduling for more. Nancy joined our staff in October 2007 and she works with us two days a week. Nancy is a welcomed addition to our office.
Tom Ormsby - Registered Dental Hygienist
Thomas Ormsby enjoys candlelight dinner, long romantic walks on the beach in the moonlight, and writing poetry...well...actually he loves his work as a Dental Hygienist. He strives to memorize every facet of a Dental Trivia and knowledge to answer all Dental Questions, not as romantic, but very professional. He graduated from Diablo Valley College's Hygiene Program. He is a native to Bay Area.
He has a broad spectrum of experience prior to becoming a hygienist. Fields of work included: carpentry, roofing, landscaping, teaching dental hygiene radiology, and being an auto mechanic. Hobbies include growing orchids, cleaning the cat box, and changing diapers (in no particular order).
Josette Fisher - Dental Assistant
Josette Fisher was born and raised in the Bay Area, and spent the majority of her
summers down south. Her mother has been in the dental field for over twenty-five years, and she introduced her to dentistry as a child. Josette received her dental education from Western Career College with additional education at Chabot College. She has been a Dental Assistant since 2003.
When Josette is not working with us, she enjoys spending time with her two-year-old daughter named Danae: reading books, horseback riding, and watching scary movies. Josette's calming demeanor and warm smile will put you at ease. Josette works alongside Dr. Pacleb during treatment procedures and she is great at helping patients relax and feel comfortable during dental appointments. Josette is truly a caring person.
Sophia - Administrative Assistant
Sophia was born and raised in the Bay Area. She is currently attending El Cerrito High School and she is proud to be in the class of '09. Her favorite subject in school is math and her least favorite is history. She will hopefully be getting her license by the end of the year. During her free time, she likes to go to the movies with family and friends, shopping, reading, web surfing, doing her nails, eating, and listening to music on her ipod or on her favorite radio station, WILD 94.9. Sophia may be the youngest member of our dental family but she is instrumental in keeping our work day smooth and our office organized. She loves everything about her job except filing the charts away.
